Dual-sign Loan Authority up to $3,500,000.Responsible for the management of four Underwriters. Two responsible for relationships $600,000 and up (Commercial) for New Orleans and Alabama. Two that are responsible for relationships below $600,000 (Business Banking) for the entire footprint.Review loan requests and communicate with Lenders regarding recommended structure changes.Mentor Underwriters through loan package review and continual discussions of active requests.Management of loan request prioritization and Underwriter assignment for the region.Currently involved in the implementation of a “scored” approval process. Implemented a workflow process that has greatly improved efficiency and loan package turnaround times regarding the Credit Department.

Performs Underwriting and Risk Rating Assessments in support of the Small Business Loan Center for credit requests up to for up to $3MM conventionally and for $5MM under the SBA 7a program. Exercises direct signal-signer MPE loan authority of $600,000. Triages and assigns loan requests as submitted.Consistently a top volume producer in segment and historically recognized regularly through annual reviews, bonuses and merit increases.Trains and provides orientation to new underwriters, and provides feedback on co-worker performance for management action in relation to training. Recruited to develop and implement the Small Business Loan Center concept, mirroring what was done at Hibernia.Participating member of the team creating and testing PPP Funding and Forgiveness Processes, developing new protocol, processes, and procedures. Participated as a major contributor in the approval of over 9,000 SBA PPP applications and recognized as an integral part of the PPP process through training of coworkers and high production level through announcements and cash awards.

Performed Underwriting and Risk Rating of credit relationships up to $5,000,000, along with annual reviews and collateral assessments of those relationships as needed. Exercised direct single-signer MPE authority of $500,000, and direct single-signer add-on authority for requests up to $250,000 where household MPE was under $5,000,000. Triaged and assigned loan requests as submitted. Managed various projects at the request of Management to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.Assisted in the continued development of the Small Business Loan Center concept currently in operation with Hibernia/Capital One.Provided training and orientation to new Underwriters and Relationship Managers, and provided feedback on co-worker performance for management action in relation to training.Consistently a top producer in segment, and recognized regularly through annual reviews, bonuses, and merit increases.Through recommendation of supervisor, participated in a retreat with other young, up-and-coming employees throughout the company that were also considered to have a bright future.
