-I was contracted to help recruit A&P / Avionics / Lead mechanics through a wide variety of methods such as: Job boards and online recruitment platforms; Social media; Referrals from current employees; Professional network; Direct sourcing within the database-Conducted phone screens and initial interviews with candidates-Managing the hiring process from start to finish; including job offer and onboarding-Collaborating with hiring managers to determine staffing needs -Maintaining a database of potential candidates and tracking the status of their applications-Communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process to provide updates and answer any questions they may have-Strong knowledge of the aviation industry-Problem solving and decision making-Networking and relationship-building with management and clients-Experience with applicant tracking systems-Proven track record of successfully recruiting and hiring highly-skilled and motivated employees in the aviation industry.
