Hello! I'm Daniel Schreyer, a passionate bioinformatician and a dedicated PhD candidate specialising in next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis and workflow development. With a deep fascination for the world of extrachromosomal circular DNAs (ecDNAs), I'm on a quest to unravel the mysteries hidden within our DNA, particularly in the context of pancreatic cancer. Through extensive data analysis and exploration, I aim to contribute to our understanding of this disease and shed light on the role of ecDNAs in cancer progression.One of my notable achievements is the development and active maintenance of nf-core/circdna, an open-source nextflow bioinformatics pipeline, which offers researchers a reliable and efficient solution for studying ecDNAs.
