I have been building something for as long as I can remember. It's not a physical product, rather an infrastructure, a kind of investment. I have been carefully seeking situations, selecting jobs, and joining teams that will add to my investment, enhance my infrastructure. My intent? To create. In order to create, a framework of skills is needed. My framework is still under construction but I am relentless in expanding its limits. Time is the only factor that hinders progress. Every project deepens my awareness and understanding. Every step in this journey; research, testing, analysis, improvement, and especially failure, aids progress and sharpens judgment. I firmly believe that drawing from a vast pool of experiences is the best way to generate new ideas, view problems from another perspective, or discover unseen solutions. Diversification has allowed me to arrive at results quickly. It has also shaped how I perceive engineering and design. There is always a way to make something better, a part lighter, a process more efficient. Isn't that the end goal? To find a better path, or even invent one?My greatest strength is my knowledge in every area of product development.- Concept stage: My artistic ability allows me to quickly create three dimensional, hand drawn sketches.- Design stage: Over ten years of CAD experience gives me the skill to efficiently construct 3D geometries.- Prototype phase: More than fifteen years of diverse construction and fabrication experience, ensuring quality design.- Mass Production Phase: Deep understanding into the benefits of Lean Manufacturing techniques allows me optimize processes and implement efficiency into the original design.I am confident that my work ethic gives me the capability to succeed and my continuous learning mindset will make me a beneficial asset for any team.

Product DevelopmentMyboo May 2018 - Aug 2018Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, GermanyAt MyBoo, I learned a great deal about the life cycle of bicycle construction and design. Myboo creates their bikes using a bamboo frame and focus on integrating this unique design with E-bike technology. Here I was in charge of developing an new mounting system to connect the electric motors to the bamboo frames. Due to a very small and young team, I was also given the freedom to implement some of my knowledge of Lean manufacturing into improving the storage room layout and workshop assembly processes.PERSONAL GROWTH-The Storage room layout project reduced part acquisition time by 60%. This was accomplished by performing an ABC Study, as well as optimizing the layout flow path. - I Initiated plans for the workshop to integrate one-piece-flow and assembly standardization into bike construction. I also presented concepts of 5s, and shadow boards into workshop organization. In addition I was tasked with research and development for a new single tube "Wave Frame" design that has higher stress requirements. Had this project come to fruition, it would have been the first bamboo bike of its kine, revolutionizing the industry. Nevertheless, through my research I was able to realize the similarities between bamboo and CFRP structures, illuminating the connection to new sustainable product designs. -
