In my executive leadership role as Director of Strategy and Analytics for CGS, I am a key strategic and analytics partner for all functions of the business including, but not limited to: Finance, Business & Product Development, Purchasing, Operations, and Human Resources. In addition to this support role, I directly manage the IT Department, Risk Management, M&A activity and overall business strategy alignment for these areas. My role works directly with our CEO and Board of Directors. CGS operates out of four manufacturing facilities, three distribution facilities, and one service center. During my time at CGS, I’ve been an integral leader in the following activities:-Development of M&A target list and management, successfully acquiring two businesses with ongoing evaluation for additional growth-M&A Diligence for two successful acquisitions (increasing business revenue by approximately 50%)-Post-acquisition integration manager for both purchases-Development of Business Strategy and long-term planning of organizational structure, operational improvements, CAPEX and infrastructure planning-Identification and prioritization of key market opportunities through total addressable market research, market share, and customer share of wallet review-Marginal Analysis and general oversight for start-up of two regional distribution facilities-IT Strategy, systems, infrastructure and cloud migration development-ERP replacement selection lead and implementation executive sponsor-COVID Business Task Force project manager and financial tracker-Marginal analysis leader for various business projects

During my time at Guardian, I managed an accounting staff of 5 employees and 5 Information Technology employees. I also functioned as the Building Manager for a facility of over 30 local employees. I was a core member of six member senior management team. My first job out of college, starting as an intern in 2004, I spent several years at PMD helping a start-up furniture distributor grow to over 100 licensees. I was primarily filling the role of Senior Accountant, but also managed day-to-day cash collections, invoicing, and purchase requisitions. On a monthly basis, I managed the full balance sheet reconciliations and ongoing budgeting and business projections. Additionally, I was tasked with ongoing improvement of licensee ordering efficiency and worked closely with outsourced web developers to improve the companies ordering portal and linking that to the accounting software for gained efficiency. Very fun years where I learned a lot about managing a business from the ground up.
