Working as a product manager, my main responsibilities involved managing the product roadmap & backlog, including prioritisation of tasks and the creation of new items based on product vision, user feedback and analysis of data. I was responsible for capturing and documentation of requirements that were then passed into design or development. I worked closely with these teams whilst the tasks were implemented, and then performed quality assurance to confirm the implementation met all acceptance criteria. In doing this, I carried out a key role in taking a SaaS product from original idea through to successful launch, gaining over 1,000 end users.Other duties included:- Detailed competitor research to understand the advantages and shortcomings of the product, as well as find opportunities to improve on competitor features and processes. - Interviewing customers to understand their marketing needs and pain points with the system, then using this feedback to adapt the product roadmap.- Pre-sales engineering, performing prospective customer product demonstrations and carrying out in-depth onboarding for converted leads.- Creating data-led reports and analysis that was provided to the CEO and board members. - Working closely with the UX team to provide feedback and ideas on designs, ensuring a user friendly product that still met all product requirements.- Leading daily stand up meetings for the UX and development teams to address issues, clarify requirements and remove blockers. - Managing relationships with 3rd party vendors and integration partners.

Working as a business analyst/project manager, my main responsibilities revolved around the creation of detailed documentation based on the client’s business needs. This required me to liaise closely with project stakeholders and elicit their requirements, helping them achieve their business objectives. I was also responsible for managing simultaneous projects throughout their software development lifecycle, removing any blockers and enabling the design, development and QA teams to run smoothly.
