Working within the health and fitness industry has taught me many skills. By educating myself on understanding individual behaviours and needs, I’ve been able to improve both my own personal life and my abilities as a Personal Trainer and group exercise instructor. I believe the most important factor to a fulfilling career and successfully achieving the client's goals is to understand their needs, which means we have to start deeper than just “to physically get fit.”. We need to be looking at longevity, and this begins with simple habit and lifestyle changes. I also want to be a part of a team that changes lives, starting with the mind. From that, I have faith that with each class, each PT session and each workout, we can begin to drastically change someone’s life - physically, and mentally. To help achieve this, I prioritise creating a social environment amongst my clients and participants, allowing each individual to build connections with other like-minded people who all strive to achieve the same goal, accomplishing it together.

Assistant ManagerG1 Group Plc Sep 2010 - Sep 2012G1 Group is a rapidly growing company and has some of the most unique venues throughout scotland ranging from nightclubs to cinemas.Within my time at G1 i have worked in three dynamic venus and have played a major role in the day to day running of each venue.Ketchup, a glimpse of a growing brand, was my first senior role within G1. This role came with various challanges. The first; How to look at a brand from outside of the box. The second; how to grow that brand. I developed the brands "Birthday Party" Packages into an "all singing, all dancing" branded delight. This became very successful and gave me the confidence to add more to the brand.. Eventually leading me to achieving the units first green audit. Following this role, I was then drafted into an exciting new project. The Vic St Andrews. This was a unit within a small town that holds 1000's of students but was missing that "must go to" attraction.. Following the success of Mitchells Deli (the Vics sister venue) The Company developed the blue prints of, what can only be described as, a multi-purpose, all in 1, attractive and desirable unit. Within the walls of the unit we have a Pub/kitchen, A cocktail bar, a function room and a nightclub all topped with a unique decor and quirky additives. From the employment of a new team to deciding the layout of the table settings. I play a major part of this unit and how it is presented and the excitement of creating a brand and seeing it develop makes each day enjoyable and challenging. The Vic is now the "must go to" Thanks to some hard work, some quirky cocktail serves and an amazing team.
