My Name is Daniel Scuba and I am very passionate about technology. I am currently a Software Developer with IBM Cloud (previously branded as Softlayer, an IBM company) While I am actively engaged with my company and responsibilities, my career motto had been to always push forward. My colleagues and friends have all described me as sharp, loyal, and dependable. I adapt quickly to new systems and find myself drawn to them. There is nothing I like more than analyzing something new; whether it is a piece of technology, news, or even general information. I love to be a part of something I can add to.All in all, I believe in a bringing passion and energy into everything I do. My biggest fault is that I tend to overdeliver, making sure every detail is correct and refining a system past simply functional. I have done everything from graphic design to custom computer builds for many people I have become connected with, as well as my role responsibilities. I rarely settle for what is and instead look at what can be. I then present my suggestions, and if needed run tests. Once I focus on something, I take decisive action. In my data center role, I expanded my responsibilities to independently design, run, and manage a backend management solution when I felt the current system could use an overhaul that was met with great enthusiasm and success. I am currently working with my software team on delivery and automation overhaul that involved modernizing our process with proven technologies like Kubernetes and Ansible. While I am beyond proud of my efforts, I look forward to my next great challenge. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to hear from you soon!
