Dan Secone considers himself a personal advocate for his clients. He firmly believes in prioritizing their interests, acting as their trusted advisor, and being an integral part of their team. As an individual deeply committed to excellence, Dan thrives in a dynamic team environment where delivering exceptional results for clients is the ultimate goal. Dan’s professional life started with a love for design and construction. As a kid he built tree houses and studied architecture. After high school, he took his passion further by working as a carpenter to master the art of building houses. Fueling his ambition, Dan pursued a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology with the intention of becoming an architect. After graduation, he made the deliberate choice to gain real-world experience in the construction field before delving into architecture, setting the stage for his eventual career as an Owner’s Project Manager (OPM). Throughout his career, Dan has successfully taken on various roles, including Superintendent and Owner’s Project Manager. He has made significant contributions to projects at esteemed institutions including Yale University, UCONN, and Bryant University. Notably, Dan played an instrumental part in the successful execution of the Bryant Builds Campaign, a 100-million-dollar capital build initiative encompassing two new athletic facilities, stadium improvements, a new turf football field, a cutting-edge running track and turf lacrosse field, and the new Academic Innovation Center. Dan's association with KCM began during his involvement as an OPM at General Dynamics Electric Boat. Now serving as the President at KCM, he is dedicated to KCM’s clients as well as the firm’s employees, educating his team about the valuable intricacies of KCM's employee-owned structure, and collaborating to continuously improve the firm's processes.
