Serviced all industries that require and use pressure equipment within their Plant, from very small air receiver vessels to large and complex static storage vessels, process vessels and columns used in the Gas Storage Industry, Power Industry, Petrochemical / Pharmaceutical Plants, Oil and Gas Refineries. Performed a variety of duties including; loading and unloading of trucks with overhead gantry cranes, loading and unloading furnace from stress relieving welds, fabricating steel, grinding and marking out work on steel plates/pipes. Skilfully Operated Tools and Machinery; gained in-depth experience with a wide range of tools, machinery and equipment to become an expert in their operation. Fabricated Caustic Soda Tankers for UGL Rail; rolled steel plates to make barrels that formed tankers, correctly measuring materials so barrels lined up. Created Diffuser/Furnace Bases for BHP; took used and worn out furnace base and developed design for creation without any original drawings. Fabricated Heat Exchanges; fit 15m tubes through baffle plates for expansion and used rolling plate to make sure that everything fit together. Checked the Quality of Work; tested large diameter vessels and tankers with nozzles blanked off and fitted with gaskets to ensure that welding would hold under water pressure. Worked Under Extreme Pressure; performed welding and load and unload duties for UGL Rail project with tight deadline efficiently and to the best standard and quality. Show less
