There’s fear of not providing for loved ones or providing an education for our kids, and fear of not having enough. And even if we believe we have enough, worry lurks in the shadows; we worry of running out of money, being a burden, so we compromise. There are those who are frustrated because managing finances is of no interest them or they are too busy with career or building a business. They know it is important, but I’ll get to it tomorrow is the mindset of the day.People become my clients because I work to relieve the fear, the worry, the frustration that comes with managing our financial lives. By building a financial strategy, clients achieve their goals (college, retirement, travel, family, business). Understanding my client’s individual risks helps mitigate them from becoming reality. All of this is groundwork so that clients see their financial options and sets a path for greater options in the future so they can make better financial decisions. Isn’t that what financial freedom is? Having options; understanding the risks and doing what is best for our own interests.
