My current role within Academic Partnerships enrolment team involves the enrolment of approximately 6000 students across the partners and liaising between the faculties within the University and Colleges regarding curriculum, marks, student progression, regulatory decisions, student accessibility and awards. I provide an effective and flexible academic support service which reflects the University's value based behaviours, continually aiming to develop our processes whilst delivering excellent customer service in all aspects of my role. I interface with customers, partners and stakeholders face to face/by telephone/in writing providing advice and guidance whilst responding to enquiries and requests in an effective and timely manner to ensure customer expectations are met whilst also demonstrating the Universities commitment to Equality and Diversity for staff, students and partners. I regularly network at meetings to share and promote best practice and build relationships.To meet our deadlines and process the large student numbers I have to plan and prioritise my workload, demonstrating self-leadership, co-ordinating and allocating tasks within our team whilst meeting the constantly changing needs of the services provided remaining resilient and adaptable. I guide and collaborate with team members to achieve our joint projects and objectives, including helping new members of the team in basic training and development. I have project managed the development and evolution of databases used within our department during my time here to create a more time and cost effective method of collecting student results, analysing and presenting the data in a collection of useful ways. I have also reviewed and improved many of the departments processes with the intentions of reducing costs, increasing productivity and improving service quality.
