Develop and create mechanical drawings and 3D models of grinding wheels used in the Automotive and Aerospace industries for 3M Abrasive Division. This is done though the use of the following software packages, Solidworks, Matercam, CoCreate, and Partmaker. The drawings are used for customer approval and records. The 3D models are used to create the G-code to run various lathe and milling machines.I have had Lean Six Sigma training. I developed excel workbooks to track and manage metrics to increase productivity and decrease costs.Lead bi-weekly and monthly teleconferences with customers and have traveled to customers both locally and nationally. I am responsible for quality control of finished abrasive wheels through the following means. Performing visual inspections, use of a comparator and a microscope when required for analysis.I am required to create bill of material lists, project status sheets and hardware counts using Syteline Software, PMCS, and OPRA.
