A highly motivated engineering professional with 3 and a half years of experience as an Engineering Surveyor since leaving the Royal Navy where I served for 12 years as an aircraft engineer. In my role as an engineering surveyor, I operate from home where I plan and manage my own work. Liasing daily with many different clients, I ensure a whole array of assets are inspected to remain in compliance, including but not limited to; passenger and goods lifts, stairlifts, LEV's, Overhead cranes, vehicle lifts, rooflines, pressure items, wind sensitive structures and assault/obstacle courses.In my last role in the RN, I served on HMS Queen Elizabeth as the F35 support equipment supervisor, where I was responsible for planning scheduled maintenance and reacting to faults, diagnosing faults in a high pressure environment, carrying out corrective maintenance, and supervising all work that is carried out on all equipment ranging from but not limited to lifting equipment, manual cranes, hydraulic rigs, pneumatic rigs and electronic aircraft movers. A highly adaptable individual, with a history of working and leading teams in stressful demanding environments, ensuring the task at hand is completed to a high standard at all times.
