VeroGroup was formed in January 2016 from the merger of Goldman Sachs and Wellcome Trust’s respective student housing portfolios operating under both the Prodigy Living and iQ brands and was re-branded in January 2017 to IQ Student Accommodation. Deputy Group Treasurer of a Treasury function with a significant focus on debt issuance and management of a c.£4bn debt portfolio for the UK's largest dedicated shopping centre owner and operator with REIT status.Activities include - The addition of two assets in to the Intu (SGS) Finance PLC financing structure and the subsequent issuance of £350m of bonds. - The early prepayment and security release of a £175m ring-fenced facility as part of an asset disposal agreement. - Negotiated and implemented an inaugural € denominated term facility on behalf of a newly formed JV Partnership. - £500m cross-boder Rights issue - £110m tap of the Trafford Centre Finance structure

Acting Group Treasurer of a Treasury function with a significant focus on the management of a c.£4bn debt portfolio and fund raising (both Bank and Capital Markets) for the UK's largest dedicated shopping centre owner and operator with REIT status. 2013 debt issuance includes- £1.1bn through the creation and launch of Intu (SGS) Finance plc. A bespoke debt platform comprising a mix of public bonds and bank style facilities collateralised by a pool of shopping centre assets; the first sterling multi-debt sourced real estate structured financing since 2007.- £0.5bn through the launch of Intu Metrocentre Finance plc. A CMBS secured against a super-regional shopping centre.- £0.2bn through several non-recourse asset specific loan facilities

Assistant Group Treasurer of a Treasury function with a significant focus on the management of a c.£4bn debt portfolio for the UK's largest dedicated shopping centre owner and operator with REIT status.

Deputy to Group Treasurer and responsible for all areas of Treasury with the exception of aircraft leasing. Core responsibilities included the formulation and implementation of hedging strategies, management of the FX & Commodity (Jet fuel & Carbon) derivative portfolios and the adoption and implementation of the, then, new IAS39 hedge accounting standards to minimise the volatility on the P&L.
