General Laborer
Over last summer I worked as a commercial roofer which initially was very much out of my comfort zone with peers also saying how hard and challenging it would be. But when faced with uncertainty and adversity it just fuelled me to not just do the bare minimum keeping the job but excel doing it. Over last summer we in Ontario faced record breaking heat and working outside for 10 plus hours daily really shaped how I performed tasks being efficient with the time given while also constantly using my head to work out issues faced with the job at hand. Overall I gained so much knowledge with my experience working as a commercial roofer with working in a team setting, having to think of solutions to problems on the fly, working in difficult working conditions with long hours and extreme heat along with being able to set plans with the most optimal outcomes while also saving on materials.
