In this role I led the Fare Compliance portfolio to deliver customer focused revenue protection services across all train, bus and ferry services within the Opal ticketing network.The Fare Compliance Unit which I led consisted of cross functional business support and leadership teams as well as 210 Transport Officers and Senior Transport Officers who work remotely, signing on at 16 different locations across the network.

Fare Compliance Unit

In this role I was responsible for leading a large team of Fare Compliance personnel to deliver a high standard of customer service and revenue protection activities across all modes of public transport. I managed all matters related to team performance and worked as a change agent for improvement in Fare Compliance operations.

Waverley Bus Depot

In this role I was responsible for leading a team of over 100 Bus Operators and managing staff performance, staff relations, grievances and disciplinary matters, in accordance with corporate policies, systems and procedures, and in support of the achievement of Depot performance targets and standards. Further duties in this role included managing customer relations and conducting investigations into OSTI and WorkCover notifiable incidents.
