Provide Database Experience in Design and Modeling to the agile teams I work on, and in addition perform support work in PL/SQL as one of the agile teams is converting from PL/SQL - Oracle based process to a .Net/Cloudera - Big Data Warehousing based process. Am currently involved in the transition from on-prem data warehouse to google BigQuery warehouse, using airflow development to orchestrate the running of the various dags written in python.

Using Oracle 11 Environments developing the conversion programs in SQL and PL/SQL to convert Legacy data from JD Edwards, Microsiga, BPIX, Navision, and SpreadSheet data to Medtronic SAP. The main conversion areas I worked on where Accounts Receivable, Customer Master, and Inventory.Through the use of Informatica to sequence the jobs to load the data and calling stored procedures written in PL/SQL I was responsible for converting the Legacy data from the source systems to SAP. In the process of converting the data , was responsible for creating and designing my own set of table and procedures necessary to to convert the Legacy data. Staged the Legacy data in Oracle and then used Informatica to produce flat files in the format required to load the data through LSMW into the SAP environment. During my time at Medtronic I was involved with 5 conversions 3 major conversion efforts and 2 minor conversion efforts.

Primary Developer of PL/SQL Packages for FICT Portal. Architect of database level processes including Entity Structure, Multi Period Data Access and Retrieval, Security model enhancements, and other designs as needed to accomplish business requirements for the FICT Portal. As part of a team including BA’s and GUI Developers, was involved in transforming the current portal to a more streamlined and consistent architecture for current entry screens and future development. Extensive use of Advanced Oracle concepts including types, objects, and Pipelined Functionality to accomplish desired flexibility and consistency in the portal. Assisted in the Design and Development of over 70 Schedules, including consultation on best methods for database design, data modeling, performance tuning SQL, and PL/SQL Development.

Three phase project with PL/SQL development and coordination in 2 of the three phases. The integration project pulling four data sources together and integrating the oracle database to produce reporting. The project integrated with Biz Talk to provide exposed rules processing to produce data extracts and Java to provide GUI display of the reports. The PL/SQL Packages were designed for bulk processing allowing bulk binding on input and output and the selection SQL in the packages was tuned using oracle hints for optimal performance. Performed Data Analysis and Design of data structures and integration into existing database structure. Work with System Architect to ensure project compliance to design standards set forth for Wells Fargo Trust Projects. Lead developer and designer of project processes around the implementation of PL/SQL Packages, including design, code review, and work assignments for other PL/SQL developers on project. Design, Development and Implementation of a standard PL/SQL platform for logging, debugging, and creation of a framework to allow rapid pl/sql program development to leverage restart ability, common logging to database or dbms output, job level parameters and system level parameters, job level metrics including execution time. Heavy use of collections, objects, reference cursors, records, varray tables, and using collection through the Oracle SQL Engine via the Table function. Debugging is encapsulated in a separate package and wrapped locally in the calling packages, so as to disable it completely if it was not being use. PL/SQL development was done primary in packages but also designed and developed several new Oracle Types, Objects, and Reference Cursors to resolve design requirements. Implementation and redesign of the data loader and schema loader process for source data using PL/SQL packages and procedures, including design and implementation of a job control and metrics gathering processes.

Primary Developer of PL/SQL Packages for Futures Trading Project. This included conversion of Version 1 software and the addition of approx 80% More functionality in version 2. Designer of XML Contract Format for interaction between ASP Front-end and PL/SQL Package Business Tier. Design modifications to the existing packages to take, parse, and use XML as the passed data. In the process of building these packages, ran into the need to parse and work with XML Data, to facilitate this. Development of a PL/SQL Package that worked with XML and an accompanying oracle object that would parse, update, insert and delete tags from the XML data passed into it. Heavily used collections, objects, reference cursors, records, varray tables, and using collection through the Oracle SQL Engine via the Table function to simplify my package design and coding. Because the environment was limited in debugging and testing packages, created debugging and timing oracle objects into the new/redesigned packages. The debug functionality was level based and created in such a way that debug at a higher level package would cascade to the lower level packages, and configurable for each package. I encapsulated the debugging in a separate package and wrapped it locally in the calling packages to disable it completely if it was not being use. Development was done in Oracle PL/SQL on both 9i and 10g Platforms. PL/SQL Packages development including designed and developed several new Oracle Types, Objects, and Reference Cursors to resolve design requirements. In total created/updated approximately 15+ packages, 3 Views, 3 Oracle Objects (XML parser, large data object, and custom timing object) and 6 new oracle types.

Design and Development for CRM Fraud analysis, investigation, and process of the Reward Zone Loyalty Card System. While working on the CRM OLAP and OLTP processes, was involved with the design of the process flows that collected data and the matching process used to integrate this data into the system. Very Large Database Design and Development experience, The OLTP system is 3+ Terabytes and the OLAP is over 9 Terabytes Tuning experience on Oracle 9i and 10g using Oracle Parallel Server on very large databases. Using Oracle 8.1.7, 9i, and 10g, SQL Plus, Pro*C, Sun OS, Unix, Windows Platform, Toad, and Visio Build and Maintained Korn and Cshell scripts to process data for daily import tasks. Designed and Developed Process to Process Communication C++ Libraries for Daemon Processing using queue methods and shared memory in a Unix Environment. The libraries are used as the base for the daemon processes running in the CRM Area. A common library also developed and maintained by me is the Core library used in 70 Configuration, Setup, and SME on SFTP data transfers in and out of the CRM Area. In addition developer of a tool to facilitate standard processing of transfer requests. SME on PGP Processing in the CRM Area, Also developed several Library functions for PGP processing (On the Fly Encryption, and Decryption) of sensitive data transfers.
