As a sports correspondent at The Boston Globe working on the high school desk, I worked dayside during the week, updating our database by inputting stats and tracking down scores to make sure our information on the website is correct. I also managed email feeds to keep track of press releases or other information that may come through the queue on a daily basis. In fall of 2017, I began working on the comprehensive high school football beat, covering Division 5 and contributing to the Saturday paper and our Players of the Week listings. Aside from high school football, I was tasked with compiling previews for the New England Revolution professional soccer team as well as other general assignment articles.After a brief hiatus in early 2018, I returned to cover high school softball for the spring season. My coverage has included game stories, features, and tournament previews.

As the Assistant Sports Director and Managing Editor at WTBU Sports, my job was to manage content for our website as well as our social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat. I ensured we had new content on our website every day and balanced our group of beat writers to give them manageable work loads. I was also the beat writer for the nationally-ranked BU Men's Hockey team for two seasons, covering games and breaking stories about some of the country's top prospects. I wrote several game previews and recaps along with in-depth feature stories highlighting members of the team. In addition, I hosted a weekly podcast covering BU and all of NCAA Division I Men's Hockey, running the show for two seasons through our SoundCloud.

I obtained work study at Boston University and was hired by the Athletic Department as a game-day production statistician. I worked various events including soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and hockey. During games, my tasks varied among stat inputting, stat calling, managing social media, creating graphics, distributing stats to media, etc.At Men's Hockey, I was the onsite radio producer for the flagship radio broadcast during all three years I attended BU. During game nights, I set up the equipment for the broadcasts, helped record pre-game interviews with coaches, ran broadcasts from the radio booth with commercials and other audio, coordinated between the control room and the radio booth, and served as a talent statistician.
