Working with EV partners to develop the process , vendors and timelines to build and implement the new machining lines in Mississippi - USA. Involvement in request for quotation, technical machine details,, process flow, PFMEA, and the coordination for training abroad , FAT and SAT supporting the program until company achieve the start of production.

Main responsibilities:● Establish and communicate engineering objectives and assignments ● P&L responsibility with repair and refurbishment business, annual revenue of 4M USD.● Define and execute engineering projects in line with strategic plans and annual operating objectives● Meet weekly with executive leadership to review and evaluate the company KPIs● Attend quarterly business review with key customers ● Partner with other leaders to stablish strategic plans and objectives● Direct and control the activities of 8 Project / Process engineers, 1 product engineer and 4 engineering tech. with responsibility of supporting the warehouse and production activities with around $100M in sales per year.● Coach, develop and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of Process engineers, product engineer and engineering technician for supporting production with daily tasks and implementing new projects ● Organizes career development and performance reviews of all staff within the department● Prepare an engineering development plan for current and new employees, to leverage the knowledge inside the whole team. ● Working close to the customers to attend all requirements of receiving, pack out, picking, packing, shipment operations.● Develop internal robust processes and visual boards to be able to track hourly, daily, monthly every product that is received, in the building and also units that are shipped to customers. ● Attend daily internal meetings to monitor production results ● Attend weekly calls with customers to follow the current and future forecasts ● Partner with HR to develop internal employees to become an engineer in the future.● Partner with Business Excellence team to develop projects such as Kaizen, Small group activities to implement cost reduction initiatives

Main responsibilities:● Coach, develop and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of Project engineers, design engineer and process optimization manager for development and implementation of new projects ● Establishing quantitative standards of performance and utilizes performance management principles to fully maximize employee productivity● Lead a team of 4 Project / Process engineers, 1 design engineer and 1 process optimization manager with responsibility of supporting the production of crankshafts with $20M in sales per year. ● Provides concept design and refinement of ideas for product development based on current knowledge and experience ● Develop, manage, and maintain cost center budget● Manages internal documents such as process sheets, work instructions, process flow, control plans, tooling and fixtures drawings and or specification ● Manage APQP (Advanced product quality planning) documents. ● Managing budgets for all costs for various projects ● Developing engineering and new tools to improve current machining process ● Presenting project status at various intervals to upper management ● Acquiring budgets for all projects, typically ranging from $100.000 to $1.500.000● Able to solve problems, creatively plan and quickly negotiate the most efficient paths to results● Know when to dig into tasks, know when to delegate tasks● Overseeing and managing timeline, budget and progress of each project together with project managers.● Developing RFQ for new machines and being responsible for the technical scope● Supplier follow-up for new machines (kick-off; timelines; drawing approval; machine run off; machine installation; final acceptance and SOP) ● Work closely with customer since project definition until project implementation.● Responsible for Engineering department and for all documents related to ISO IATF 16949, Plant layout, including implementation of new machines and machine relocation, and maintain cycle time sheets

Main responsibilities:● Identifying opportunities and implementing processes that increase production while reducing costs, implementing new machining concepts, identifying duration and key milestones, defining machines and building specifications and developing and implementing organizational policies and goals. ● Researching and developing new suppliers and manufacturing processes.● Preparation of investment application, return of investment and profitability calculations.● Controlling of Budget and cash-out of the Projects ● Writing high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for a technical audience. ● Work with internal teams to obtain an in depth understanding of our products and the documentation requirements● Preparation and control of manufacturing process sheets; quality control plans; PFMEA; Machining line Chrono analysis; Product’s Process Flow. ● Elaboration of Request of quotation for new machines and for machine installation (scope of service).● Strong Supplier’s follow-up for every ongoing project by Conference calls, by e-mails and also by face to face visits to assure that the project’s timelines are updated. ● Implementation of machine modifications (layout, fixtures, tooling) to optimize the process flow, to reduce cycle time, and to increase production and efficiency. ● Tooling, gages and fixtures project design; and improvements. ● Implement new production process, by conducting preliminary tests, analyzing and fixing deviations and monitoring the Operation's Start-up.● Work instructions and job standards development● Certified auditor for System, product and processes audit ● 5S project owner of the engineering department. Lead the activities during the process of sorting , organizing , creating the standards such as workplace standards, cleaning standards, establishing frequency of cleaning, getting the team involved to bring ideas for improvement and sustaining the program.

Coordinate all the engineering activities for one Machining line with more than 50 employees and producing around 12.500 Diesel crankshafts per month.Main responsibilities:• Responsible for machine OEE, quality and improvement tools at shop floor;• New Machines installation management. • Engineer in charge of the automatic line which produces 150K pieces/year at Campo Limpo Paulista – Brazil facility;● Certified auditor for System, product and processes audit • Suppliers monitor audit;• Work instructions and job standards development;• Process sheet full elaboration;• Engineer lead for tolling and fixtures standardization. • Fixtures and machines follow up – pre acceptance and final acceptance;• Technical scope development for new machine acquisition and for machine retrofit;• Tolling costs reduction projects.• Responsible for layout changes at shop floor for processes improvements;• Travel to Germany, Italy, Spain, and Japan to follow up with new machines and with machines pre acceptance. Travel to France to prepare the engineering tools, fixtures and machines for shipment to India Plant. Travel to India in order to receive the tooling, fixtures and machines shipment, support supply chain procedures, meeting with machine and fixture suppliers. Travel to China to coordinate the machines installation, to coordinate the Chinese Engineers and the machine suppliers during the whole line installation● Support the Chinese team to create processes sheets, work instructions, job standards and also support the start-up activities.

Responsible for the production of diesel crankshafts, including rough, heat treatment and finishing operations. Direct report includes 22 employees in the shift.
