• Provide engineering support to the RF unit production organization, while driving continuous improvement efforts and quality driven results.
• Support the introduction of new products into production. Includes development of new manufacturing processes, automated processes, process control, cost control and tooling.
• Responsible for transitioning projects from engineering using design for manufacturability/test techniques, to insure first pass success of products.
• Identify and implement new equipment, processes, or upgrades that may be necessary to improve production delivery schedules.
• Formulate product and tooling design concepts, following up with cost effective, functional designs, utilizing a DFM approach. Create and provide all necessary drawings and assembly instructions.
• Research and development of new processes. Evaluate materials for appropriate and innovative process choice.

• Leadership of a team of up to 6 engineers and designers over three product lines: Receivers/Downconverters, Low Noise Amplifiers, and Local Oscillators.
• Reporting technical and project status and issues to senior management.
• Perform cost account manager duties and reporting financial and schedule data to management on each project assuring appropriate progress toward the desired project conclusion.
• All staffing, performance reviews, and compensation action responsibilities.
• Designed hermetically sealed receiver/down converter product variations operational from 2-30 GHz.
• Supported staff and reviewed, internal and external customer formal Critical Design Review (CDR)

• Responsible engineer on multiple, concurrent projects/programs.
• Capable of working on both IRAD and program based products.
• Reporting technical and project status and issues to senior management.
• Present designs to customers, internal and external, in a formal Critical Design Review (CDR) format.
• Production support all the way through the design process, from concept through production.
• Qualification of products, including shock, dynamic, and thermal testing. Mentor to junior engineers, guiding them in the process of product development and project management.
