London project manager running and overseeing multiple projects within and around the London area, as well as managing the London site and project engineers.

UK

• Project engineer full time, managing several different companies that work within the UK & IRE on the Exxon contract looking after the motor fuel equipment, civil contractors, food equipment and Signage on all sites in.
• I am the health and safety advisor for programs, legal & critical works and preventive works ensuring that all my contractors are up to date with current ABB/Exxon H&S procedures. I also ensure scope of works are.
• I daily ensure that all key business drivers are up and running at all times following contractual agreements. This involves me working with the contractor managers to make sure targets are met and contractual lead.
• Daily working duties involve me working with our (ABB) help desk and my contractors to make sure all service level agreements within the contractor’s contracts are met to ensure all key performance indicators for our.
• I make unannounced site visits as well as planned visits where I will check the safety of works and the quality of works being carried out. Site audits are a regular part of my role while on site.
• Face to face weekly and monthly meetings with the client and our contractors are required to review all jobs to date as well as any programmed works that are under way. I arrange client and contractor managerial site.

Home Based

• Originally hired on a year’s temporary contract to look after all programs on the Exxon contract.
• Scope and plan programs, internal and external on all Esso sites in the UK & IRE, to improve Health and safety, sales and preventive maintenance creating value generation.
• Program values were anything from 50k – 5 million per project. Per year I could have up to 10 different projects all running at the same time.
• Client meetings were held weekly and reporting all updates when requested or planned.
• Contractor stewardship of all contractors working for ABB on all assigned programs. Ensuring the correct documentation is kept on site and Health and safety procedures are met at all times.
• Dealing with quotes daily by reviewing contractor rates to ensure the client got the best service and price by following the contractors agreed schedule of rates.

London Office

• On a day to day basis I speak with many potential clients who call our office seeking assistance, and it’s my job to ensure I close the deal and they choose our company for their needs.
• I also call and meet many different companies e.g. restaurants, shopping centres, factories, offices etc asking whether they have a pest control contract in place? And I will arrange a meeting with the facilities.
• Health & Safety control of all subcontract labour utilising permit to work system, including the writing (for in-house staff) and assessment (for contractors) of method statements, risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
• Working closely with the Help Desk to ensure service level agreements are fully observed and all relevant monthly operational data is completed.
• Plan, manage and supervise a range of maintenance works programmes throughout the sites using subcontractors and contracted services.
• Maintain appropriate site records.
