Induct new employees upon arrival onboard the rig. Coach all personnel in Seadrill’s safety management system and administer on the job training programs.Ensure all incidents are reported immediately. Conduct incident investigations and ensure all learning is shared amongst the fleet.Assisting in the promotion and development of HSE awareness campaigns and safe working practices.Manage (develop, track and report) Seadrill’s QHSE plan and operational performance data.Support the onshore HSE Department in the development and maintenance of Seadrill’s corporate health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.Ensure that all certification of safety equipment is in place in accordance with Seadrill’s procedures.Prepare for, and assist in conducting safety meetings.Monitor and participate in regular inspections and audits to be carried out in accordance with Seadrill policy.Train and mentor personnel in Seadrill’s Permit to Work system and the effectiveness of the system. As well as to monitor compliance, competency and training related KPI.Perform a daily sample audits of the Permit to Work System to ensure permits are initiated, prepared, and closed correctly with TBRA’s and certificates attached as required for the scope of work.Personally demonstrate a strong commitment to Seadrill’s HSE Management System in all aspects of operation.
