Daniel, aka Danny Singh is an artist, born June 11th in Queens, New York. Since a young age, Danny’s Mixed-Guyanese parents have heavily influenced his taste and love for music. He began performing at the budding age of 4 with the likes of saxophone, bass, and piano. He pursued his passion as he grew into his adolescence and started producing his own music at the age of 13. Danny doesn’t shy away from his inspiration, and talks often about the influence his family has on his devotion to music. His mother, Camille Singh, is the lead vocalist of the church he has attended since for as long as he can remember. His father, Naipaul Singh, is a multi-instrumentalist and music director whom Danny credits with teaching everything he and his brothers know about the instruments they play today. His older brother, Nathaniel, is a pianist and vocalist. He has also produced many of the tracks and singles Danny has worked on and performed. Finally, his younger brother Gabriel, is a drummer. Danny and his brothers come as a package deal, and often perform together with Danny at his live shows. At the age of only 16, Danny was one of very few to have performed at Afropunk with his brothers, and even won a battle of the bands competition.Besides his rising music career, Danny is signed to RED Models and has modeled for several streetwear brands and companies such as Footlocker, MLB KOREA, Converse, and All Saints. He has also shown an interest in acting, but ultimately his passion lies with music. Danny believes his music can impact several people, and does not limit himself to any obstacles. He doesn’t identify as an R&B or Pop artist. Rather, Danny believes he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to. His passion for music will never die.
