• Assisted in the planning, management and coordination of the International Smart Partnership Dialogues (international development summits attended by up to 600 delegates including Heads of Government, senior individuals from both the public and private sector) in 2013 and 2016 (forthcoming). These were coordinated in conjunction with the Host Secretariat – representatives of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania in 2013, and from the Government of the Republic of South Africa 2016.• Assisted in developing the agendas and programmes for the International Smart Partnership Dialogues, as well as for numerous smaller events involving international stakeholders.• Researched and prepared extensive background documents on a variety of topics covered in the Dialogues.• Organised teams for working visits to relevant member countries, coordinating and monitoring travel, logistics, budgets, programmes, meetings, and subsequent activities.• Facilitated and monitored follow-up discussions, as well as producing comprehensive follow-up documents.• Coordinated and expanded the CPTM Smart Partnership Network of members.• Organised and took part in/led working visits, including to Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, South Korea, Belgium…• Organised and facilitated a series of webinars on the benefits of Standards and the impact Standards can have on trade. The webinars engaged representatives from ISO (International Organization for Standardization), WTO, CROSQ (CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality), as well as representatives from Standards Bodies from a dozen countries in the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.
