Daniel Skillings is a Minnesotan born and raced. He graduated in International relations from theSaint Thomas University in Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1985 and received a certificate inCommunity education of the University of Saint Catherine also in Saint Paul. He did internships and studied several semesters in Guatemala and Colombiawhere he got very close to the Latin American Culture. He married and decided with his wifeto live in Colombia. He was a teacher for 5 years at the Colegio San Carlos in Bogotá and work inSeveral English institutes. But having a spirit entrepreneur, started his own company PCT Colombia in 1990which has had significant successes over the years. PCT Colombia, is dedicated to cultural exchanges for young people in sports, arts, education and work experiences. More than 15,000 Colombians have traveled abroad thanks to the important programs thatdevelop. Daniel is the exclusive representative of the National Sports Center, one of thebiggest amateur soccer tournaments in the world. Throughout the past 30 years, more than 100 Colombian teams have triumphed in this important event. He is also a representative and National Director of CCUSA, a sponsoring organization of the `Work and Travel` program of the United States Department of State. With this program thousands of Colombian university students have had important work and cultural experiences for their personal and professional growth. Additionally, Mr. Skillings has developed one of the most important cultural exchange programs for middle schools and high schools in Colombia, that has influenced and improve the image of the country abroad, through artistic presentations in the United States and Canada.Thanks to the visits of Colombian schools abroad, the program grew with a reciprocal exchange program having groups of numerous foreign schools visiting and interacting with schools in Colombia while traveling through different cities and regions of the country. The exchange program achieved the recognition of the company and the guarantee to carry theSymbol of `Colombia Country Brand` formerly known as Colombia is passion.
