24+ years in logistics management, initially, at the age of 19 years old, I joined Walmart Distribution & Supply chain, supporting the largest retailer in the world. Started as a freezer order-filler, and was promoted within 6-months. Through the belief in "Continual Daily Improvement", and under the direction of several key mentors, I was able to continue my climb into management and went on to become one of the youngest Area Managers overseeing multiple operations. I continued my career within their Transportation Division where I was challenged and rewarded for my efforts. I owe much of my success to the principles of Business management and Logistics that were instilled, and from the support of my fellow colleagues, many of which I still consider like family to this day. This laid the foundation for me to find my path to GFA, Inc., a company dedicated to providing a "Total Logistics Solutions" to our clients and partners. Initially, as an Operations manager overseeing multiple types of 3PL operations including Transportation, Intermodal drayage, General warehouse, JIT (Just-In-Time) & JIS (Just-In-Sequence), Consolidation & Distribution and eventually being promoted to the position of Operations Director. In 2018, I continued to advance my knowledge and expertise to include Director of Business Strategy & Development overseeing the continued improvement within Customer Service, Sales, Human Resources, and Admin departments. In 2021, I was promoted to Senior Executive Director which has allowed me the invaluable opportunity and privilege to join GFA's Executive Leadership. Though GFA has been around since 1992, we are still growing at an amazing rate. Currently we have focused the bulk of our operations, with some of the biggest names in Automotive manufacturing, Appliance Market, and Energy Storage industries. We provide critical solutions for our customers nationwide and across the globe. Through a working partnership with our customers, and creating productive collaboration we are driven to resolve and improve the impossible. 1.
