I am a bilingual psychiatric nurse practitioner and the owner of Connections Nursing Psychiatry, PLLC, a telepsychiatry practice in Utah, Washington, and Idaho. In my practice I place special emphasis on accurate diagnosis and evidence based medication prescribing, and as an avid student of psychiatry and psychology, I make it a point to determine individual needs and provide expert recommendations whether medication is warranted or not. I have worked in psychiatry since 2018 in most levels of psychiatric care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, outpatient, and telehealth. In these settings, I have experience working with both adults and adolescents. Having spent thousands of hours in the acute hospital setting, I have seen and treated many acute and complex cases across the spectrum of mental illlness, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and neurodivergence. I have special expertise in Anxiety and depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, and children and adolescents. I am passionate about mental health treatment and education and I firmly believe that connection with God, self, and others is the ultimate goal, outcome, and antidote for mental wellness. I respect patients’ viewpoints and struggles and help my patients feel comfortable and at ease by approaching with understanding. I am currently accepting new patients.
