Serves as the Task Force Commander for 5 Transportation Detachments in support of the United States Army Reserve Command national contingency response. Works in conjunction with Federal Emergency Management Agency to leverage Task Force Assets providing in-transit visibility, movement control, and deployment to a designated area.Mission essential task included expediting, coordinating, and supervising transportation support ofunits, cargo, and personnel into, through, and out of airports, water ports, or assigned geographicalareas. Served as the Movements Control Officer of the Convoy Operations section of the Theater Movements Center (TMC) for the 21st Theater Sustainment Command (TSC) responsible for convoy and military line haul movements across the United States Army Europe (USAEUR) area of operations. Worked with the 16th Sustainment Brigade, two Movement Control Battalions, Diplomatic Clearance Teams, Host Nations, and Theater Logistics Sustainment Command - Europe (TLSC-E) ensuring that convoy and line haul movements meet departure time and execute without incident.Responsible for the discipline, welfare, professional development, and readiness of seven Soldiers within the section. Additionally served as the Unit Safety Officer responsible for weekly safety briefings.
