Performed all phases of the product development lifecycle for new Tracker Technology, including developing new product concepts, creating models and engineering designs, prototyping, testing, and sustaining existing deployed products.

 Spearheaded the designing, testing, and validating of several products and systems related to First Solar’s EPC Business and Solar Module/Panel Technology.  Performed all phases of the product development lifecycle, including developing new product concepts, creating models and engineering designs, prototyping, testing, and sustaining existing deployed products.  Collaborated on the design of FMEA's and responsible for internal and external reports and presentations.  Served as the lead for developing and sustaining the wire management system for First Solar’s EPC and for developing and sustaining products to support and protect the solar panel. Operationalized the development of test procedures and equipment for non-standardized testing.  Delivered engineering support to a range of projects and programs, including First Solar’s Single-Axis Tracker System. Employed a diverse skill set of product management, construction management, machining and prototype building, development of jigs for assembly and testing, and development of field equipment.

 Provided mechanical engineering support to the product development team.  Completed stress analysis and thermal expansion analysis using FEA software and ANSYS. Developed and applied CAD software, PTC Creo, to create 3D models and mechanical part and assembly drawings containing geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

 Collaborated with the Engineering Application Operations team to support First Solar’s System Engineering and Business Development teams.  Delivered technical support to CAD and Engineering software application users.  Assisted with developing and maintaining First Solar CAD standards.
