I have worked for The Tipton for 10 years, starting as a customer service advisor, where I gained my CeMAP qualification,then moved into the administration department before joining the mortgage underwriting team. Initially processing applications, I was soon given the opportunity to begin Underwriting in July 2022. I have underwritten BTL and standard residential mortgages along with JBSP applications and later life lending. I have experience of self-employed applicants, adverse credit and other niche lending criteria with a manual underwriting approach which is not reliant on credit scores. In less than 2 years of experience I have gained mandates in BTL and residential lending and offer an open minded approach to underwriting, always looking for more efficient ways of working
