Performance ● DRPAs each Distribution Center (D/C) has different issue patterns, it was a challenge to supply stock from the factory to the D/C effectively. I developed a demand requirement program to make stock replenishment easier. The program analyzes the issue patterns for a certain period with a weight factor and grades the items by calculating the average quantity of stock that the D/C needs to keep. If the D/C stocks fall below a certain range, it makes an order for stock replenishment. ● ATP simulationI developed a program that calculates the estimated delivery date of customer orders to provide the information to the sales department and prevent any possible cancellations. It calculates the date based on the production plan, order quantity and material size, etc. TFT was organized for verification and to improve accuracy. Process innovation was also needed as many factors (production plan…) change from time to time.Kumho tires Japan 3PL Interface1. Project period2014.6 ~ 2014.10 2. Therefore, the system interface was needed with the 3PL system.4. Role & ResponsibilitiesAs Project Manager, I designed the system interfaces (Goods Receipt / Issue Instruction, Goods Receipt / Issue confirmation, Closing stock) and managed the project.5. Performance & Lessons learnedI reduced the processing times by sharing the logistics information with 3PL. Possible communication errors were removed. I collaborated with Japanese developers and learned that different languages and cultures could be risk factors for the project and need to be changed.

Project requirementsLegacy system was developed using Oracle PL/SQL. It was hard to figure out program source dependency. As each overseas factory has different requirements and government policies, the system was replicated and modified. This caused problems of system maintenance and expand ability. For Global Single Instance, the system designer extracts the local factors and changes them to set up (Multi UOM, Multi Time Zone, Currency, Language, Screen variation). When users log into the system it gets the information from the setup and configures the system. 4. Role & ResponsibilitiesI guided the usage of framework to other members. I developed 21 screens and business components (Sales order replacement, return goods receipts, shipment, and Billing document creation, etc…) 5. Performance & Lessons learnedIn 2010, the system was applied to 18 overseas corporations. Now, 50 corporations are using this system. I learned about logistics and studied other modules to understand where logistics sources come from.Shipbuilding ERP 1. Project period2007.11 ~ 2008.12 2. Role & ResponsibilitiesI was assigned the production execution module and my responsibility was UI and business component development. I developed the master data handling program (ROS, Routing), production execution schedule setup and execution result. 4. Performance & Lessons learnedI prepared the team seminar to share production execution module. To help better understand this, I analyzed all the sources about it even though some programs were developed by other members. Through this seminar I was able to utilize other members’ ideas which could improve the quality of the program.
