Here I learnt how to work effectively as a team. I confidently liaised with the public all day in order to achieve customer satisfaction. I competently dealt with customer complaints ensuring I was well mannered and articulate as I did so and also followed strict security and legal protocols when it came to handling customers personal and bank information.

I Worked alongside company owners and managed a promotion team of over 30 people (which involves organising weekly social media posts from them, managing physical ticket sales and keeping team morale high). I organised physical and online social media promotion campaigns and developed new event ideas. I liaised with artists and ensured they were looked after. I would set up and packed down the venue and be the first port of call with the venues bar managers and resident DJ’s.

I worked alongside my boss in a broad range of terrestrial and aquatic environments carrying out a mix of landscape gardening to local council contract work. The contract work involved removal of invasive species of plants on local waterways and their banks . I assisted in health & safety liaised with the public, providing presentations and safety information.

I worked in a busy kitchen which helped improve my interpersonal skills and confidence as an individual. I also gained valuable experience in handling high-pressure situations in an environment that requires a high standard of levels.
