I am a Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant. Nutrition, exercise, and healthy living are my passion. I have acquired my education through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and I have eight years of personal experience in athletic performance such as running, weight lifting, and martial arts. My work revolves around using nutrition, supplements (when required), and herbs to prevent and treat a variety of health problems as well optimizing the health and well being of individuals. My main focus is on Sports Nutrition - that is, everything that revolves around helping clients lose body fat or gain lean muscle mass, and improve their athletic sports performance. This can be done in various ways, as it is not all about "calories in, calories out". Contrary to popular belief, this could not be further from the truth. When assisting a client, I look at the adrenal glands, liver, digestive and endocrine system, and pH balance of the body to insure everything is in tip-top shape. These play a huge role on whether a person will lose weight, gain weight, or improve their sport.Everyone is different and what works for some may not work for another. That being said, I design programs specifically for clients by looking at their lifestyle, exercise, emotional well being, and stress management. I use nutritious natural foods, along with high quality herbs and supplements (when required), to help heal the body as well optimize their health and prevent future health problems.My philosophy is to inform my clients of alternative ways of eating, exercising and living. I wish to help them help themselves transform into healthier, happier people. Through a combination of delicious food ideas and practical advice my process is to slowly assist people in coming to terms with changes that feel comfortable. I am confident that I can help those I consult with to develop better nutrition, exercise, and healthy living.
