Daniel recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Purdue University Global, earning a degree in finance, and is attempting to prove that it is possible for established working adults to pivot careers after working in an unrelated field for many years. He is currently working as an Area Corporate Trainer at Five Guys Enterprises; overseeing the training and development of over 200 employees across 35 locations. He is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and efficiency of the service, operations, and food safety standards, as well as measuring and improving the financial performance metrics of each store. With more than 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, he has a proven track record of leading and coaching high-performing teams, increasing sales, profitability, and other financial metrics, and managing multiple projects and priorities. In addition to his time at Purdue, Daniel has gained a vast amount of experience with financials such as budgeting, P&Ls, labor management, COGS, EBITDA, etc. throughout his various roles over the years within the Five Guys organization. Thus, he aspires to combine his expertise in training and business management with his knowledge of finance and apply it to the business or financial sector in an attempt to secure a new role within the finance/business industry.
