The market area encompassed four business units: Analytics, Customer Interaction, Collaboration and Project Services. The goal was to grow the Market Area and to define its go-to-market proposition. In six months, the market area has grew with 25% and surpassed its budget with more than 22%.The biggest achievement was to ensure that the market area has transformed its delivery from expert/singular resource consulting to larger assignments.

Responsible for Acando’s largest Market Area, IT Consulting consisted of more than 250 employees. The market area encompassed three market units: Strategic IT, IT Solutions and Business Intelligence. The goal was to grow the Market Area and to simplify its go-to-market proposition. Thus, inventing the tagline “Managing your IT: from Strategy to Technology”. Additionally, ensured that the market units worked as a whole throughout Sweden, where they historically had been disparate. Aligning with the strategic goal of simplifying the go-to-market proposition, ensured that structured offerings existed for all market units. This had historically not been the case. Inherited an already functioning business area which was suffering from declining profitability and sales of individuals. By stimulating and encouraging more complex sales with larger team components and with a simplified service portfolio, Strategic IT managed to be the most profitable business area year over year.Strategic IT at Acando was the largest IT Management business in Sweden with more than 100 employees.

Responsible for one of the business units within Acando’s Strategic IT practice, focusing on Enterprise Architecture and strategic testing deliveries. Ensured this was one of the most profitable Business Units in Sweden year over year. Also created the foundation for a functioning EA Practice, which today is one of Acando’s bestsellers; matching services and vision in close competition with Gartner.
