• Ensuring that the pit meets all standards the gambling commission and other governing departments set.• Led the team to deliver excellent customer service and live games.• Achieving and maintaining performance targets e.g., hitting year-to-date targets for margin hold and income. • Communicating with senior staff to deliver excellent customer service.• Communicating with management to update them on what is happening during the shift.• Communicating with other departments.• Completing all pit paperwork and excel documents, trading reports, margin reports, and underline margin reports.• Recording all training that has been delivered.• Maintaining pit standards through performance reviews.• Inspecting games - making sure all bets and pay-outs are correct, watching out for any cheats or discrepancies, and reporting any major game changes to Pit Boss.• Hosting customers - introduction to the casino and tour whilst explaining the different games and bets.• Training dealers on games such as Roulette, Blackjack, Texas Hold’em Poker, Omaha Hold’em Poker, Three Card Poker, and more.• Covering pit boss breaks and holidays.• Coaching dealers before and during they go on a live game• The day-to-day running of the card room including management and deployment of staff and day-to-day admin.• Specialised host for the card room customers ensuring they have the best experience possible.• Achieving and maintaining income targets.• Achieving and maintaining customer satisfaction targets.• Handling customer complaints and queries.• Acting on customer feedback to ensure an ever-improving service.• Inspecting games - making sure all bets are correct, all pay-outs are correct, watching out for any cheats or discrepancies, and reporting any major game changes to the Pit Boss.• Hosting customers - introduction to the casino and tour whilst explaining the different games and bets.• Training dealers on games such as Roulette, Blackjack, Texas Hold’em Poker, Omaha etc
