Hired as an AIX and Solaris admin, primarily to set up a NetBackup server system, originally on Sun servers, eventually migrating to AIX as funding for better hardware became available. Originally CHI had a lockout on all linux in the enterprise, advocated to get RHEL accepted and set up the first servers on HP hardware as well as the first VM's and datastores for linux on our ESX servers. Instrumental in the process of going from zero to over 200 RHEL 5.x and 6.x instances. Set up the HMC's for our AIX servers, and have experience and IBM training setting up VIO Servers, PowerHA/PowerMIrror, all on Power5, 6, and 7 platforms. Supported applications for hospital clinical and billing services and printing systems and security monitoring software, as well as administration of nagios monitoring servers. I have experience setting up RHEL servers on HP and Dell servers, HP and Cisco blade systems and vmware instances as stated.AIX 5.2-7.1, RHEL 5 & 6 and Solaris 9 & 10 administration, AIX PowerHA, VIO Server and PowerVM, HMC installation and administration (HMC 6.x & 7.x,) VMware Linux virtualization and admin, administered Solaris zones, support for Optio print software on AIX and Linux, Support for Netbackup on AIX and Solaris.
