Bachelors of Science degree in Geography with an Environmental Studies Concentration, a Geographic Techniques and Spatial Analysis Concentration, a minor in Geographic Information Systems, and a minor in Earth Science.My interests include, GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Ecology and Geomorphology. While attending Eastern Illinois University, I achieved considerable experience in GIS and environmental studies. I involved myself in a substantial field work research project, “Patterns of Bed Morphology at a Chute Cutoff Obstructed by Large Woody Debris”. Within the project I analyzed structure of flow, bed morphology, and obstructions on the Embarrass River. Data was collected using surveying equipment, handheld global positioning systems, and entered into computer programs, such as Microsoft Excel, Command Prompt, WinRiver and Arcmap 10.1. I presented my analysis at the Annual Association of American Geographers, in Chicago, Illinois.
