Global Industries & Regional Markets ("GIRM") proactively manages the Corporate and Public Sector exposure of Citi's Markets & Banking clients throughout the world. Responsibilities include credit analysis, credit approval, and active monitoring of the portfolio to identify credit migration. GIRM works in parallel with the Citi Markets & Banking bankers and product specialists. Working in conjunction with the bankers, we are able to make informed decisions through an understanding of the credit, structure and profitability features of each relationship. GIRM New York (“GIRM NY”) covers approximately 700 client relationships in the various Global Industries including Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT); Power, Chemicals, Metals & Mining (PCM); Consumer & Healthcare (C&H); and Transportation & Industrials (T&I).• Risk assessment and credit analysis of existing relationships including periodic review of financial results and statements to monitor operating performance, liquidity position and financial condition, peer analysis, and preparation of financial projections and sensitivity analysis.• Conduct industry reviews and identify trends and risk drivers in particular sectors• Assist in periodic portfolio reviews testing for industry, sector and obligor concentrations and assist in meeting ad-hoc Regulatory Requirement needs• Proactively monitor credit exposure, undertake analysis / investigation where required to ensure exposures are properly reported and exceptions resolved• Maintain a high degree of understanding of internal credit policy and reporting requirements• Manage assigned projects in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and that deliverables are met• Assist with the testing and implementation of appropriate technology solutions

Designed and constructed a bookkeeping database in Microsoft Excel and Access to monitor and keep track of 250,000 financial transactions to bring the clients company paperless.Utilized attention-to detail in the design of a SQL algorithm to extrapolate pricing data from 20 websites and input into Microsoft Excel for interpretation.Developed system to generate financial reports with customized conditional formatting and Microsoft Word integration.
