Business Development Manager Commercial Banking. Within the 2 years in SME/Commercial I went from very little experience in Commercial lending to being the top performing SA/WA BDM in FY22 and left in FY23 being the number 3 Nationally. I learned a vast range of credit skills as well as maintained and created a large network of brokers who trusted I was the right person to handle their lending and clients. It was this move that really gave me the hunger to move to my self employment as a broker.

My First role within the Westpac Group was as a Bank Manager at the Butler branch. Butler being a very UK migrant populated area, our goals were simple. Drive high performance with the Migrant sector, deliver in the community, and have a high performing team behind me.My first year for Westpac at Butler was a hugely successful one, and a year I will never forget. After my first year i was offered the opportunity of running the Woodvale Branch, which i gladly grasped. A Branch with a customer base four times the size of Butler's, a huge SME focus and opportunity, and a bigger team to work with.After a hugely successful 6 months leading the Woodvale team to an excellent half year rating, I was asked to take on the role of the brand new Bank Now! site in Karrinyup. A bigger site with a far bigger customer base and a large number of affluent based clients. I was at Karrinyup for 18 months and together with the team there went on a journey of having a brand new Banknow! site. I really enjoyed my time at Karrinyup, and the wealth of knowledge I gained there will be invaluable in my career going forward.In September 2015, due to my interest in commercial and the SME market, I moved from Karrinyup to Malaga. One of WA's biggest commercial areas. I spent 3 years at Malaga, working with the commercial team and my own team of bankers. In this time i was awarded Bank Manager of the year, and also numerous local hero awards. I worked closely with brokers and achieved an excellent working relationship with them to help our customers get the best experience. In January 2020, i was given the opportunity to take over Belmont Forum. A branch with a much higher customer footfall and staffing FTE. In the 9 months i have been here, we have enjoyed our best service scores in 3 years at the branch. I have also been successfully working within the Westpac referrer team, where our aim is to sign up referrers such as Real estate agents to refer their clients home lending needs.

My first exposure to people leadership was with Barclays Bank. Running a small team to start with of 8 members of staff and after a while taking on the responsibility of another branch and 14 more members to our team.
