Reporting to the Driller and Rig Manager, the Assistant Driller is responsible for the supervision of the drill crew through all operations ensuring all safety regulations were observed. Responsible for training personnel to recognize abnormal conditions to prevent workplace incidents and accidents and implement emergency procedures if required. Key responsibilities included ensuring company policies, procedures were followed for all operations, leading equipment maintenance and supervising drill crew.Attained Level 3 IWCF Well Control with Distinction whilst in this role.

Reporting to the Driller and Assistant Driller, the Derrickman is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of drilling fluid in accordance with client program and mud engineer specification.Responsible for the operation and maintenance of mud pumps, mud pits and all associated equipment along the rig fluid system. Key responsibilities include the maintenance of drilling fluid and mud systems and monitoring of drilling fluid for kick indicators.

Reporting to the Driller and Assistant Driller, the Leasehand (entry level) and Floorman are labourers on the drill crew who are required in a majority of rigging tasks during all operations. Key responsibilities include all confined space entry roles and working at heights tasks and participation in all rig floor operations (making connections and tripping).
