What I doI am a barrister specialising in employment, public and commercial law. My practice also includes sports and regulatory law. I have worked at 11KBW since 1992, taking silk in 2010. I qualified as a mediator in 1997 and have mediated regularly since then. I have represented the widest possible variety of clients, including banks, hedge funds, professional services firms, government departments, trade unions, local authorities, health bodies, technology businesses, football clubs, Formula 1 teams and individual litigants from all walks of life.How I workBeing a barrister is all about achieving the best result for the client. The greatest privilege of practice at the Bar is getting to know different clients, and learning how their particular profession, organisation or business works. Understanding the individual business is critical. So is being available and responsive whenever needed. Litigation is most successful when the client, solicitor and counsel work collaboratively as a team.
