Not many of us can say that we enjoy the job we are stuck with, but I am one of the lucky ones. My work is my passion and I take pride in the success of my team! I love it when things go smoothly, even when it requires a lot of effort. As stereotypical as it might sound, teamwork really makes the dream work, and making tasks easier for my team helps all of us in the long run.Managing a team of over 60 employees is not a painless task. It requires constant personal and professional improvement, which can be taxing. Yet, this is what makes it interesting. I like a good challenge! Refining my management skills, helping and guiding others, and reaching our company’s goal, all while keeping relationships civil at work and also having a family and social life is difficult, I will not lie. Some might call me a workaholic and to a degree they are right. An organized space and work environment is crucial for progress, but so is developing your professional skills. Yes, I know, I’ve already mentioned this, but that’s how valuable it is!That is why, I’ve decided to go back to school as well. I wanted to sharpen my skills and learn new management methods I can implement. Why did I do this? First and foremost it was for me. But, learning consistently has also helped me create a better work environment for my team. I am not just their “boss”. I strive to be the person they can come to when they need help - whether it’s work-related or not. Having good communication among ourselves is beneficial to everyone and it also makes working together better.
