• Establishes welding procedures to guide production and welding personnel relating to specification restrictions, material processes.• Technical support acc. to EN1090 or ISO3834 codes to obtain & maintain certification specific to companies operating in the field.

• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.• Oversee daily welding operations, including material preparation and equipment setup.• Ensure that welding projects are completed on time and to a high standard of quality.• Manage a team of welders, assigning tasks & delegating responsibilities.• Enforce company policies, procedures & comply with all safety regulations.• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and production, to ensure that welding projects align with overall company priorities.• Investigate and troubleshoot welding problems and implement solutions.• Keep accurate records of welding procedures, materials used, and labor hours worked.
