Principally developed using Storage Accounts, Logic Apps, Azure Monitor Events, and Powershell automation in Azure Automation Accounts.- Principal developer and application architect for multiple IaC deployments, ranging from Artificial Intelligence, Spend Management, Pharmacy Analytics, Data Warehouse offerings with Third-party software on Virtual Machines, and more. Worked with Application Developer Teams on gathering requirements, building infrastructure, and tailoring to developer and end user needs. Created a core template used in other team deploys.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Lead architect and engineer for multiple Infrastructure and Application deployments, principally working with Data Solutions (now DATS) and Corporate Systems (SAP) for delivery of solutions using emerging technologies new to AIG Technology Services. Lead architect for IaaS capabilities to align with company Public Cloud deployments.Key Accomplishments:- Architected and engineered SAP HANA deployments on off-prem AWS infrastructure. Collected and presented capability requirements to Technology Services stakeholders to drive extending TS capabilities to AWS regions. Engineered HA solutions using both AWS native functionality and SIOS Datakeeper clustering technologies. Engineered DR via AWS replication and automated systems deployment.- Architected and engineered AWS environment for PCI DSS compliant insurance application, including providing a reference architecture for a CDE. Deployed network, compute and IAM resources.- Principal Architect for initial deployment strategies for Azure cloud deployment. Developed Subscription and IAM/RBAC Models, initial Network and Regional configuration, and defined naming convention standards. Deployed initial VNET population and limited POC compute.- Deployed multiple Hadoop infrastructure deployments with Hortonworks software platform and commodity hardware. Piloted and documented Kerberos integration via Centrify (AD) to HDFS and other Hadoop services. UNIX Operations Lead for all centrally managed UNIX based systems under AIG TS management, including Linux (SuSE and RedHat), Solaris (7-10), and AIX (6,7) deployments on multiple hardware platforms. Primary triage lead for high severity incidents for all UNIX platforms. Responsible for training new staff on procedures and technologies, documenting methods for operational success, and driving resolution on level 3 and 4 support on UNIX related issues.- Led UNIX triage and resolution of key events, including:1.) Led recovery efforts following Hitachi based storage frame failure to restore SAP Opentext and Sabrix production environments.2.) Led triage and identification of Veritas GFS, Solaris, ETrust, and Guardium memory management issues causing page allocation memory management hangs in Commercial Solaris shared cluster environments.3.) Led triage and identification of Solaris (SUN Cluster stack), patching and Technology Service stack technologies causing stability and launch issues with Wall Street Systems application portfolio.- Documented and developed operation standards for multiple regular runbook requirements for level 2 and 3 support, including: Veritas Clustering on Solaris operational support and resource management, Solaris Sun Cluster operational support and resource management, SunFire 8800 and 15k operational support and allocation management, operational triage of performance and device mechanisms, Solaris and Linux patching methodologies, Veritas and Sun Cluster software stack update methodologies.- Developed tools in python and perl to provide integrated real-time performance statistics and auditing configuration states to simplify management responsibilities.- Led operations ownership of business unit server management during IT function reconciliation with various business units, including coordinating and documenting operational tasks and bringing systems into compliance for ongoing support.
