Churchill Falls

• Responsible for the layout, assemble, install, repair, maintain, connect and test electrical fixtures, apparatus, control equipment.• Install services, switches, panels, and related equipment, bend and install conduit, repair appliances and all other duties as assigned.• Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance on hydro units aswell as distribution equipment in the switchyard and remote sites.• Participate in safety meetings, tailboards and risk assessments aswell as Doble, timing and high voltage training.• Install and maintain both temporary and permanent generators, pumps, motors, breakers and disconnects in a variety of challenging locations.

Muskratt Falls

• Responsible for installing temporary power to essential site services and troubleshooting problems with previously installed circuits and power feeds.• Ensured all work was done safely and properly to code in a timely matter and making sure good housekeeping was done after each job.• Facilitated safety talks within the shop. Helped design a work method for working on tower cranes on the site.• Participated in high voltage terminations and safe work practices while working with the work protection code and permit system.
