This experience trained me to think clearly in life and death situations. My work also taught me to be observant and to notice things that other people miss. I volunteered to use my medical skills to do relief work in Nepal after the earthquake and short term work in a hospital in Bangladesh. At the hospital in Bangladesh I helped them to establish and implement a Mass Casualty Incident policy and I trained Bengali employees in various aspects of emergency medicine. I also volunteered with the Chester County Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Our team works with public safety officers who have experienced emotionally traumatic events in the line of duty. I was deployed by our team twice to New York City after 9/11. I earned a seminary degree and spent my vacations teaching in small Bible colleges in Eastern Europe. I have also used my education ministering in my local church. My extensive world travel has given me understanding of and comfort with various cultures.I have owned residential rental properties for about 25 years. This has given me an understanding of business practices.My hobby is photography. Photography has helped me to see beauty where other people miss it. I have volunteered my skills to help my church and other non-profit organizations promote themselves.
