I translate a wide variety of Hebrew texts with painstaking attention to detail. These texts include but are not limited to scholarship from Bible studies, Rabbinics, Jewish philosophy, and Jewish history, as well as primary sources from Antiquity to the present. My most recent translations include Moshe Halbertal's By Way of Truth: Nahmanides and the Invention of Tradition (Yale University Press) and Ishay Rosen-Zvi's Between Mishnah and Midrash (UC Press). My translations have been published by Brandeis University Press, De Gruyter, Hakirah Press, Oxford University Press, University of California Press, and Wayne State University press, and have appeared in more popular venues such as New York Times Magazine, Tablet Magazine, and the Seforim Blog.

I conduct various types of historical research for individuals, institutions, or working groups. Here are some examples: - Researched the provenance of Maimonidean manuscripts, wrote catalog entries situating them in their historical context, and assessed their potential importance to the relevant field of scholarship- Decoded the enigmatic writing of an influential twentieth-century Jewish philosopher on a variety of subjects - Determined which medieval kabbalistic texts to include in an anthology- Researched, translated, and summarized materials pertaining to modern Georgian Jewish identity

I edit English texts written in a wide variety of styles and registers. I perform every type of editing from developmental to copy. Aside from ensuring grammatical correctness, consistency, and cogency, I help the author present their best voice to their intended audience or readership. Edited texts range from entire books to lectures and applications.
