• Responsible for the stormwater division of the Environmental Services Department.• Manages a team of dedicated individuals that participate in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as it relates to stormwater management. Oversees an industrial stormwater program, MEA and APA soil erosion programs, and the largest MS4 Phase 1 Permit in the State of Michigan.

• Responsible for the engineering review, permitting, and inspection for both private development and public infrastructure projects within the City for stormwater management and soil erosion control.• Managed a team of three (3) engineering assistants and one (1) civil engineer directly in the review, permitting, and inspection of all site engineering within the City. Facilitate team operations and meetings while also providing leadership to the Development Center as a whole. Serves as direct supervisor for these individuals and provides performance evaluations, learning opportunities, and facilitates their professional development.• Participated in the annual review of ESD budget operations, with a specific focus on development center ESD operations and the Omnibus Fee allocations.• Provided department technical resource in the development of the Stormwater Standards Manual and the updated Stormwater Code to adhere to MS4 Permitting requirements. Also assisted in the development of other department resources like the Green Book, Daylighting Opportunities assessment, and the Stormwater master plan in the support of the Stormwater Oversight Commission.• Actively and regularly coordinate with multiple departments across the City, specifically Engineering, Water, Parks and Recreation, and Economic Development regarding the design, permitting, and construction of municipal projects.

• Work involved the project design and construction management for the installation of 18,000 feet of new water main at the Detroit Arsenal, a large scale industrial research and design facility for the U.S. Army.o Quality Control Design and Review water main system that was completed to review proposed upsizing of water main and to review industrial demands of the facility.o Daily construction management and engineering services were provided to ensure the successful installation of the water main on a highly compact industrial site with several critical utilities.

• Served as lead design engineer on several road reconstruction projects, public water system improvements, sanitary sewer rehabilitation programs, and storm water control and storm water quality improvement projects.• Harrison and Hildebrant Reconstruction and Water Main Improvements• Design and construction of a 5,000 feet water main replacement and full road reconstruction project near Detroit Metro Airport.• Scio Township Sanitary Sewer Lining • Provided engineering review and construction services for the video pipeline assessment and rehabilitation of sanitary sewer lines in residential neighborhoods.• Bradley / Snow Water Main Improvements - Ypsilanti Community Water Authority• Design Engineer – Developed plans, specifications, and estimates for the construction of approximately 20,000 feet of 8”, 12”, and 16” ductile and PVC water main. The project also included a water main connection to an existing 24” transmission main.Brownstown Township Sanitary Sewer ImprovementsDesign engineer and field engineer of a 3,000 foot sanitary sewer main extension to facilitate a new housing development.

• Completed role as a design engineer on multiple commercial projects throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. Projects included Discount Tire stores, large mixed-use properties, and Wal-Mart Stores. • Work included site utility design including water main and sanitary demand sizing and design.
